JFK Conspiracy

I believe that the great nation that all past Americans knew and loved lost its innocence, but not at the moment of the assassination of our Commander in Chief. The United States of America lost its innocence when high ranking government officials began to look suspicious and possibly to be involved a conspiracy to commit the murder of John F. Kennedy. When our leaders turn to murder in order to get what they want and then they continue to turn around and kill other individuals, American citizens, to make sure the truth will never come out. The country has become completely corrupt to the point where there is no way possible where it can be for the people, of the people, by the people. That is the way the United States Forefathers started this country and they said that once our government has become corrupt it is up to the citizens of this country to overthrow the government and restart the methods that were once so important to all Americans. To what point what must the corruptness of America become before the people that own this country take back what is rightfully theirs? I feel that most Americans felt unsafe after the assassination of JFK because if the President of the United States of America gets shot, anyone is just as vulnerable. The people of America are all people from foreign lands, all the people that come to this great country looking for a better life. The “American Dream” used to be a reality for certain individuals but after all of the incidents over the years of war and going into debt is now a thing of the past for most to all people. The future of the United States will be affect forever not by the assassination of Kennedy, but by events that followed including going completely into war in Vietnam and increasing the national debt of the United States to unconquerable amounts.

Many awful events have occurred in the history of America including the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the plains being flown into the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. American people felt some of the same emotions on both of these horrific events in recent years. Most citizens that were old enough to remember each event would be able to tell you the exact place that they were when they heard the breaking news of the happenings. Nine Eleven was one of the most tragic moments in United States history. Not only because it took away the lives of thousands of Americans and injured many others, but it took away the slight peace of mind that the people had. Both the assassination of JFK and 9/11 were prime examples of national security “blunders” as some would say, although many intelligent individuals are convinced that not only was the JFK shooting a conspiracy but as well as the attacks on 9/11.

Finally my personal thoughts on the assassination of JFK are that it was the biggest conspiracy to commit murder in global history. Kennedy was trying to change American thought process and would possibly have complete peace in the American military with no war for a time period of his Presidency. If it were up to me to decide, Kennedy was murder my highly trained snipers that possibly worked for the FBI or even the CIA. All of the major agencies had some hand in the assassination or else it would not have been as easy to perform such an action. I also believe that this conspiracy goes so high up in the government that those individuals would rather kill innocent witnesses than to face the consequences of their own actions. The highest I believe that this conspiracy went was as far as Lyndon B Johnson. There are tons of conspiracy theories about the assassination of JFK, but now I want you to think on a totally new scale. Suppose that the entire globe is controlled by a “world power” (a select few of individuals that run the planet) and JFK was threatening the powers that be by informing people that he was going to pull troops out of Vietnam completely.  Aristotle Onassis could have been a world power with his wealth and Jackie Kennedy eventually married Onassis just a few short years after being a first-hand witness to the awful shooting of her husband. I find it odd that she married so soon after the traumatic death of her first husband. All the individuals that hold the most wealth on the planet work together as a world power and control the world economy. RFK and MLK were just collateral damage after the assassination of JFK because both of those individuals had just as much if not more power than JFK himself.

Flat Tax

Some people that do not have as large of an income feel that a progressive tax is necessary on the high income families. But the people that say these things do not realize that the high income people pay based on how much money they make. They have extremely expensive lifestyles and put a good amount of money back into other businesses. What people really have to ask themselves is how they would feel in that exact situation. Although they do make more money they will pay more taxes anyway if there is a flat tax will still be above the general citizen. The event that would most likely happen if the government would switch to a flat tax would be a raise for the tax across the board so the all citizens would have to pay more just so our country would be able to function. All of these high end individuals think that it would be beneficial to have a flat tax and they would not have to pay the government quite as much and would end up spending the same amount. This would only hurt our economy because professionals always claim that a strong middle class is the reason that our country flourishes when it does. You will see more and more families not being able to make ends meet and the demand for higher paying jobs. This could cause a spike in unemployment and possibly the homeless. It could through our country worse into debt. I feel that it is a good idea to keep it the way it is for the sake of America as a country it would be best to keep it the way it is at the present time. A flat tax would cause more harm than good at this point in time.

Our Art is a Reflection of our Reality

“Our art is a reflection of our reality”, was a line used in the screen play Straight Outta Compton. Because N.W.A.’s brutally honest lyrics used many “unacceptable” words or phrases, people started to retaliate to the groups messages that they were sending, especially law enforcement. Although the growing popularity of N.W.A. was noticeable all over the country, they still caused massive controversy will the questionable language and type of music that was being performed by the newfound group. The moment that Ice Cube used the phrase stated in the first sentence, I knew that the music N.W.A. was publishing back in the day changed Compton and the whole country forever.

The group came to popularity through a song sung by Eric Wright Jr. aka Easy-E, rapping about how the life in the hood is, what people act like and do in the hood, and how the police treat the individuals in the hood. American people in the Midwest and East coast had no idea how rough times had gotten on the west coast. N.W.A. came at a perfect time because they brought the events that happened on a daily basis in the streets of Compton into the public eye at a national level. These five artists rapped about truth in the hood and eventually they became public figures and gave the average people the courage to start retaliation towards law enforcement that abuses the power that they have.

The Los Angeles riots were sparked by the incident involving ex-convict Rodney King in a high speed chase ending with police brutality caught on video after the arrest of the high speed chase. Even though King was intoxicated and uncooperative, he resisted arrest and was brutally beaten by police officers Laurence Powell, Theodore Briseno, and Timothy Wind. Although these events were unnecessary and massively uncalled for, if King would have just given himself up right away instead of being uncooperative and resisting arrest he could have saved himself a lot of time and he most likely would not have been beaten as badly as he was. Because the incident was causing such a controversy in the midst of the city, the trial of the police officers was moved to a neutral location to make sure no bias was being used. The trial caused even more controversy throughout the Los Angeles area because the despite the best effort of the justice system, the jury consisted of ten white individuals and zero African Americans. The police officers were issued verdicts of not guilty on all counts except for one assault charge placed upon Powell.

After these events took place some of the worst riots in Los Angeles history broke lose. The acquittals sparked the rioting and looting in Los Angeles that became the most destructive United States civil disturbance of the twentieth century. During these riots dozens of people were attacked including a white truck driver, who was pulled out of his vehicle and nearly beaten to death by three African American men, by the name of Reginald Denny. By the time the sun rose, over a dozen people had been killed, hundreds of people were injured, and fires were burning by the hundreds all across the city. You may ask why are these events important to the members of N.W.A.? With all of the police brutality incidents occurring in the Los Angeles area, experienced first-hand by the members of N.W.A., the group felt the push to write and produce a song known as F___ Tha Police, because of the events that were occurring in their own backyard. It brought national attention to Compton and eventually it was the phrase used during the Los Angeles riots and other protests or riots throughout the country.

N.W.A. had their moment in the sun for a brief amount of time and eventually split due to controversy over money. When N.W.A. split up it is not like each individual just rode off into the sunset, all of them stayed in the music industry but were never as popular as they were as a group. People wish that they would have stayed together to meet there full musical potential. Although these men were extremely talented in the music world, but they were twice as important in the racism fight in Los Angeles giving people a voice at a national level and showing people even in high city, state, and country offices the way that the citizens of Compton feel about the way they are treated and abused by the law enforcement.

N.W.A. brought a voice to the people that believed that their opinion did not matter. They gave the highly populated African American community of Compton the voice that they had not had for years. N.W.A. showed people the way that some cops were abusing the power that they had been granted. The City of Compton was in a vicious cycle, the cops were making them feel like criminals and druggies so eventually the people act like criminals. Then the new cops come and do the same thing to the next generation and it becomes almost impossible to break that chain. “Our art is a reflection of our reality”, is the way all people should look at life. If you take a step back and wrote lyrics to how your life is and what kind of things you have seen or done. What kind of song would it be? Would it be worth listening to? If you stepped out of your body and listened to it without bias would you enjoy it or would it be boring? N.W.A. did not realize the influence that had for the people around them and individuals all around the country. They did not realize that they had an effect on the nation, they just took what they had and ran with it. They were pioneers for their generation, community, and race. Although the group eventually split, the small amount of time that N.W.A. had as a group left a lasting imprint on all Americans.

Free and Reduce Lunch Program

The trends that I have seen while studying the graphs conclude that people who qualify for the free and reduced lunch programs have a greater chance of having lower testing scores. The kids that do not have the qualifications for free and reduced lunch programs have much higher grades than the lower class people.

This could also show that people do not fall far from the tree in the way that they will not have good jobs, because the education that they choose to get they might be in the same boat as their parents are in with their own kids in the near future. This really fall into the class system and how it is hard for certain individuals in the classes that they are born in to move up classes because they choose to be like their parents so they will fall into the same setting which could go on and on for generations to come without breaking it. The cycle will continue to go like this until someone forces themselves or each other to break their old habits and eventually start new habits and then they could continue to climb up the staff or fall back into the class they were once a part of.

Donald Trump Muckraking

When Donald Trump promises Americans that we will “get tired of winning”, that is the same statement that he promised the people of America with the opening of Trump University. Trump University was a way for Donald Trump to get millions and billions of dollars from the American people with the promise that they will be able to take the things they have learned and apply them in the business world and be able to succeed in all aspects of the business world.

Approximately 10,000 “students” enrolled in these seminars and some to have personal mentoring for nearly thirty times the price. Although most of these individuals involved with Trump University seem to be satisfied with the results there is the other side where they feel that they have been cheated out of their money and deserve compensation. Certain students have paid up to $35,000 to receive the “Gold” program at Trump University which consists of personal mentoring by professionals, and have received little to no attention from these so called “experts.” If Donald Trump has done this fraudulent activity in the past, what is stopping it from doing it again except on a much larger scale which could cause financial unrest to not only the country, but also all of the citizens of America?

White Privilege

I believe that white privilege will decline throughout the year in America, but it will take a while. Just take a look at the people that run our country. In the Senate 80% and the House of Representatives 79.8% of the people in power consist of the white race. Both of the House and Senate also consist of approximately 80% male. Even though the white race has become the minority in America, it will not necessarily completely defeat white privilege until congress has more of a balance between races and genders. The United States did not elect its first black president until 2008. That is 231 years strait only having white males as the commander in charge. If it is believed that America will not have white privilege in the next 20 to 30 years, white privilege will continue to be an ongoing factor until the power of America has a balance of both gender and race from top to bottom.

There has been talk of increased gun control for years but nothing has come about it. If the gun laws become too strict, people will revolt against the country and it could possibly be the coming of a second civil war. Our government does not want to see that happen, and if individuals of power think that the people of America will stand idly by as they have their guns stripped from their possession, they are wrong. The right to bear arms is given to the American people through the second amendment,  and organizations like the NRA will never allow the government to take away the people’s right to such an activity. The NRA will not lose influence in politics because it has such a large following and a large amount of members all across the country. Individuals that enjoy recreational activities such as hunting or trap shooting will all become members of the NRA if the government threatens increased gun control because that will make it much more challenging for government to pass a bill enforcing higher gun control.

Another argument that always goes around in times of talk of increased gun control or the possibility of guns being confiscated by the government is do guns kill people or do people kill people? Of course guns make it much simpler for a person to kill another individual, but that’s the key to the comment. People kill people. I know plenty of people just around this area that have more guns that you can count with both your hands. And to my knowledge none of which have ever killed another human being. When there is a murder that occurs, what is the first questioned asked; who shot the gun or what kind of gun was used for the violent act? Of course what individual committed the crime because it is simple, people kill people.

All people of all different cultures are taught several very important concepts through pop culture such as movies, television dramas, or songs. Most men in romance movies are white males that save the day and get the beautiful woman in the end. Movies of such nature can also help to create a false sense of entitlement in areas such as the work force, education, power, and women. No matter what people think, white people still have more privileges than black individuals. With a higher rate of being arrested white people are still the minority group in prisons. Problems that occur in our society include white males thinking that just based on their sex and race that they are entitled to more than any other person.

White privilege is reality, it will continue to be a reality until not just the United States population recognizes whites as a minority, but when congress and the judicial system realizes whites as a minority. If or when congress is predominately black, Mexican or Asian: there could possibly be a terms such as black privilege, Mexican privilege, or Asian privilege. White males are often thought to be most likely to be mass shooters because they have a false sense of entitlement. When these white males realized they cannot have every they feel they deserve, they will take down as many people they can with them. The NRA was created to protect the gun rights of outdoor enthusiast and hunters, just because there may be stricter gun control laws do not necessarily mean that they will take away fire arms completely. Even if guns were banned in the United States, the individuals that are going to be committing crimes or have bad intensions will still be able to get their hands on firearms. Guns are like drugs, just because they are illegal does not mean they will be off the streets completely and crimes involving these weapons will continue to occur. I believe that the future is not much different than the present and if history has taught us anything guns will continue to be a right of Americans.

White privilege will continue to be a factor for years and decades to come therefor gun rights will be around the prolonged future. When we as white people become the minority, the future is unknown and no one person can guarantee what will become of our nation or our world. All I know is that our country has been run by white males throughout every year that that we have prospered. There have been large numbers of other races in America for a long time and white males continue to be in powerful positions. I believe that white males have run our country forever, in the beginning there was white privilege and it will continue to live on for many years to come. All of those brilliant minds coming together to create the Constitution gave us as American the right to have guns and use them personal benefit as long as it did not hurt other individuals and that will continue to occur. Finally I believe that the NRA is way too large and powerful to ever lose their influence because they have such a large amount members that vote for people supporting gun rights.

Freddie Gray

I believe that society let Freddie Gray down. He was born into a difficult situation of poverty, low income, and high crime rates with poor sanitation everywhere. Already being born with a birth defect is challenging enough but having to do it under all of the other circumstances is asking someone to succeed is nearly impossible. While Gray was growing up he suffered from excessive amounts of lead in his body, and living in the home environment it continued to get worse until the amount of lead in his blood before he turned two was seven times the level that is thought to cause permanent brain damage.

To just make his life worse, Freddie was enrolled at a school where they had inexperienced teaching and most of those teachers would be gone from school 10+ days out of the year. The education in this community is very poor and therefore makes it even more difficult for anyone to get out of these bad communities. Freddie Gray was dealt a bad hand by society, but that is no excuse for his actions either. He used illegal drugs and was having run-ins with the law quite often. The suspicion that the police officers had when they arrested Gray were probably justifiable. If Gray was known by name for some of law enforcement, he was probably not completely innocent.

Freddie Gray’s story is saddening that he did not get the chance to live life to its fullest extent. He missed out on countless opportunities because of birth defects, mental capacity, and environment. Although he had all of these mental problems, that does not give him the right to break the law. This is a case of the media trying to spin things in order to get it to sound like our system has a flaw and the police officers were completely in the wrong arresting him. I feel bad for this particular individual but we cannot change the past and hopefully the neighborhoods that have bad lead problems. There is going to be dramatic changes eventually within our society in order to avoid cases like this in the future.

Deviance

Smoking is thought to lead to more deviant behavior, sure as sex or drugs. To some individuals smoking is a gateway drug leading towards the possibility of participating in even more deviant activities. Although some situation this might be true, but there are individuals all over the place as a release or a way to just relax. Cigarettes may also be a way for a deviant individual to express that they are trying to be a deviant or even a way to get attention from some people that otherwise would not even notice there existence. Smoking has been banned in countless public places that offered that freedom just 10 or 15 years ago. With actions like this people are going to see smoking as a deviant action and possible convince certain individuals to stop smoking and prevent future usage of the product.

The way I see it is doing something stupid and foolish just because our society allows them to. Cigarettes are highly addictive and if used early and often in an individual’s life, it could affect them in way or behavior and definitely in financial circumstances. Just like eye color or hair color and style, I believe that deviant behavior can be passed down, or even learned from generation to generation. And with the current young generation, it is scary to think how many deviants there are, what will become of our once great country? Will it continue to deteriorate? Only time will tell the story and deviance is a major factor in the future of our country as a whole.
